Cheryl Fernandez-Versini had something of a temper tantrum on last night’s X Factor as she came to blows with Simon Cowell.

The singer critiqued Simon’s act Jay James and his rendition of Adele’s Skyfall, saying she didn’t “feel” it.

When Simon retaliated saying it’s not an acting competition, Cheryl did not take it too kindly and it all got a bit awkward…

Dermot O'Leary tried to smooth things over, apologising to Jay about Cheryl and Simon's fighting, saying: "Sorry you have to hear the grown-ups rowing like that."

Things got even weirder later in the show when Cheryl demanded Louis Walsh swap seats with her.

Later on, the Girls Aloud star shared a photo on Instagram of Simon with his hands around her nek, looking very happy indeed!

We know that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Louis Walsh aren’t exactly the best of friends, and their catty feud has taken another embarrassing twist ahead of this weekend’s live shows.

Cheryl, who hasn’t gone to great lengths to hide her dislike of Louis (although the feeling is definitely mutual), has revealed that she thinks Louis is going deaf and needs to get a hearing aid.

During an interview this week, the singer said: “We went through stages where people would say: ‘My name is Ben’, and he would be like: ‘Ken?’ And we would be like, ‘BEN!’”

She added: “We have told him he needs a hearing aid but I don’t think it went down very well.”

Yes, we can imagine that Louis wouldn’t have been too pleased at her suggestion.

Never one to take a jibe lying down though, Louis hit back at his co-star, insulting her music yet again.

Louis responded to Cheryl’s comments in the Sun, saying: “Maybe that’s from listening to her records! Anything she can say, I can hit back twice as hard.”

And just in case Cheryl thought she was getting away lightly, the music mogul added that he would be only too pleased to see her perform her latest single live on the show, saying: “I hope she sings live. I’m sure she can.”

Thank heavens for Mel B being there to separate these two tonight!

Tulisa is back, and she’s raring to go.

Indeed, with a new single out, the singer has revealed that she is finally ready to put her legal troubles behind her and get back to what she loves best – music.

Speaking on Radio 1, the 26-year-old revealed that the past few difficult months have made her stronger than ever.

“I appreciate the good times now. Life is a rollercoaster – the lower you go, the higher you bounce back,” she said, adding, “People expect me to be bitter, but you just need to move forward.”

And Cheryl and Mel B may want to watch their backs, because the former N-Dubz star also has her eyes on her old X Factor job!

The Young singer revealed: “I would do X Factor full-time again. With the years I didn’t do it, I found myself – I had my enlightenment year. And now it’s something I could go back to and really enjoy.”

Are you listening, Simon Cowell?

If you’re looking for some action, we suggest heading over to Twitter where it’s all just kicked off for poor Stephanie Nala!

The X Factor contestant, who was eliminated from the show on Sunday, decided that rather than Google a burning question she had, she would ask her loyal followers.

The (now deleted) question? “What is Ebola?”

Of course, many of us will say that we had no idea what the deadly disease was either up until last month or so, but social media users have blasted the singer as “ignorant”.

Stephanie later claimed that she had not watched TV for five weeks resulting in her lack of awareness about the deadly disease.

One user said: “There’s been an Ebola outbreak since march and @StephanieNala is asking what Ebola is this morning. The ignorance is disgusting.”

However, many people also stuck up for the 20-year-old, saying that her question was harmless:

Let's face it – we all have weird/silly questions we need to ask from time to time but that's what Google is for! All of the answers and none of the ridicule!

Nicole Scherzinger had a scary experience when she fell ill in a limo she was riding in last Thursday while in London.

The singer began to feel sick and opened the door of the limo before it had stopped. When the driver went to help her, he accidentally left the limo in gear, causing it to rear end another vehicle.

A source told The Sun: “She screamed at the driver to pull over, but it was impossible to stop. She must have been really disorientated because all of a sudden she opened the door.”

The former X Factor judge’s second album, 'Big Fat Lie', was released two days ago, perhaps she is feeling the pressure of promotional work!

We're glad she's ok and that nothing more serious came of the incident!

X Factor hopeful Jake Sims was left "mortified" this week after a nude photo of him was leaked online.

The 19 year old, who is part of judge Louis Walsh's band Stereo Kicks, tweeted the picture two years ago but had since deleted it.

The published image, showing him posing naked in front of a mirror, includes the caption, "Here's my nude, lol. Yolo xx (sorry if you see this mum)."

Awkward!

The picture began circulating on social networks over the weekend, much to Jake's embarrassment. A source close to the singer said he was worried the leak would affect his chance on the talent show. "He is mortified that this has now come to light – he is totally committed to making a success of Stereo Kicks and doesn't want anything to distract from that."

Twitter users apparently began threatening to release the image once Jake reached the live shows. Well, any publicity is good publicity, right?!

Despite the cringey incident, Stereo Kicks battled their way into next week's show, winning a sing-off against Chloe Jasmine – although reports are circulating that the eight piece group will be dropped to six members.

X Factor contestant Stephanie Nala has come forward about the horrific abuse she has received on Twitter since first appearing in the show – getting over 200 death threats from “rival gangs”.

Stephanie had trouble with girl gangs in school, to the point where police had to be called to intervene.

“When I was 14 I used to hang around with a girl in the older years, and our group had problems with a gang from a different school,” Stephanie said.

“There were times when I had to leave school early because there were a load of girls waiting for me outside the gates. It got so bad that the police were called once.”

Since the 19-year-old singer got through to the X Factor live shows however, she has feared for her life.

“Since I sang on the live show last week I’ve been sent death threats,” Stephanie reported.

“I’ve had 200 messages on Twitter from people saying that they’re going to knife me, and that I’m going to get what’s coming to me. They’ve threatened my family too.”

“One message, from someone who lives near me, said I was only on X Factor because of what I look like — and when I leave that can be changed.”

X Factor has reported these terrifying threats to Twitter, who advise anyone receiving abusing messages to report them immediately.
