We suppose this is a little early Christmas present for Honey G fans.

Yep, the X Factor rapper has just released her debut single, The Honey G Show, just in time for Christmas.

In the video, the aspiring star references herself to big-time performers such as Kanye West and Snoop Dogg, and then even compares herself to Muhammad Ali.

Oh, and of course the track includes THAT call and response chorus (that we all love so much).

Even though Honey didn't win the X Factor this year, she's still hoping to bag a number one with this song.

Former One Direction member, Louis Tomlinson, has been widely lauded for his performance on last weekend's X Factor finale.

Just days after his mother's passing, the singer took to the stage at one of the biggest television events of the year, and did an incredibly job.

And while she was full of praise for Louis, last year's X Factor winner, Louisa Johnson, insists she wouldn't have been able to do the same had she been in the same situation.

"I thought he was so brave. I don’t think I could have actually done that," she told The Sun newspaper.

"I really really felt for him and looked up to him for that," she continued.

The singer, who became the youngest ever winner of the long-running singing contest following her victory last year, insists Louis' appearance deserves the utmost respect.

"Losing someone is such a hard thing in itself and to then go on a show in front of millions of people is very hard anyway and I think he handled it so well."

Louis' mother, Johannah, was just 43-years-old when she lost her six-month battle with leukaemia last week.

We have to say, we were pretty delighted that all the One Direction lads showed up to the X Factor to support their band mate, and friend, Louis Tomlinson.

Louis took to the stage on Saturday night to sing his debut song, Just Hold On, in tribute to his late mother, Johannah Deakin, who passed away last Wednesday.

The 1D lads were all there in the audience to support him and even went out with him afterwards in London.

However, only a few hours later, Niall Horan was back in the US, and when reporters asked him why the quick visit, Niall simply said he had "a very good reason."

As the Mullingar man stepped back on US soil, a reporter shouted to him, "Weren't you in the UK like an hour ago?"

Niall replied, "Yeah, I flew home for… I was in the UK for twenty hours. For a very good reason."

A source who was behind the scenes at the X Factor told The Sun: “It was an incredible and special thing for them to get back together as a four and be like brothers again.

“Niall flew in overnight from New York so he could be there and Liam came from Los Angeles. It was that important they were together.

“They were all in Louis’ dressing room together and it was obviously an incredible emotional night," they added.

Let's be honest – one of the biggest moments in X Factor history was the duet between Beyoncé and Alexandra Burke back in 2008.

Between Bey's vocals and Alexandra's hilarious bawl-face, it was definitely a moment to remember…. but for all the wrong reasons for the lads from JLS.

According to a recent interview, the act, which went head to head against Alexandra before she was ultimately crowed the winner, were furious that their fellow contetant was paired with an international superstar in the finale.

Reflecting on the atmosphere backstage at the time, Aston Merrygold said: "I was baffled. I was so baffled. At the time, I was 19 and I was absolutely fuming – behind closed doors I was fuming. Like, Beyoncé – are you kidding?!"

Speaking on BUILD Series LDN, he continued: "I was fuming. Listen, Westlife were amazing at the time and we had one of the biggest songs ever, but we were like, ‘How’s she got Beyoncé?"

“No disrespect to Westlife at all, but we were like, ‘Why didn’t we get Beyoncé?’" he admitted.

Why aren't we surprised?!

The loved-up duo, who first met on the reality TV talent show when Liam was just 14, were today attending a Christmas fair in the centre of the English capital.

The pop-star, who recently divorced second husband Jean Bernard Versini Fernandez, wore a tight green wool dress with black boots for the occasion.

However, and despite Cheryl's appearance, Mail Online reports that a spokesperson for the Newcastle native refused to confirm her pregnancy.

Liam, 23, and Cheryl began dating late last year – although it was the spring until their relationship was social media official.

Honey G has encountered her fair share of criticism since rapping her way onto our screens this summer.

And while the aspiring star may have expected pushback from the viewing public, she probably didn't expect to hear herself compared to Brexit… by an actual member of the X Factor team.

While chatting to The Express at the ITV Gala event last night, Matt Edmondson, host of The Xtra Factor, reflected on how far Honey G had come in the process.

And it sounds like he's as baffled as the rest of us.

Trying to sound as diplomatic as possible, Matt said: "It would be an amazing thing for her and a huge deal for the show as we've never had a rapper win."

"In a way, you've got to go with what the public say, but then we said that about Brexit and Trump." Matt added.

Yep that's right, Honey G has just been compared to the two of the biggest controversies of the year.

"I don't think she regards herself as a novelty act, but instead offering something different." Matt reasoned.

Nope Matt, too late now, You've said it.

Former X Factor star Rebecca Ferguson was in tears today as she admitted in a live broadcast that she was sexually abused as a child.

Appearing on ITV's Loose Women, she told the panel that she was just eight years old and living in a children's home when the abuse took place.

The 30-year-old mother-of-three revealed: "I've never said this – this is really weird," before adding: "I've never spoken about it. I told one friend, but – as I've launched a website – this is the perfect place to speak about it.

"That is what I'm trying to do, make a safe place where women can speak about their problems."

Rebecca continued: "It affects your esteem – how you allow yourself to be treated by men, how you feel about yourself and what you expect to be treated like."

The singer, who finished in the runner-up spot during the 2010 series of X Factor then revealed that it's taken her "years" to build up her self-esteem and she "didn't receive any counselling".

With countless X Factor viewers fuming over the fact aspiring rapper, Honey G, is still in the running to win this year's show, Simon Cowell has weighed in on the controversy.

Responding to criticism that the judging panel voted for Honey G over Ryan Lawrie in order to create further buzz around the show's novelty act last weekend, the music mogul insisted that the judge's decision had nothing to do with favouritism.

In fact, Simon appeared to suggest that when it comes to voting acts off, the four-strong judging panel are actually playing the long-game.

"You know what, you have to make a call in the moment," Simon explained.

"And I think, if we’re being honest with each other, watching the show last night, I can see a clear… three or four people who’ve got a real shot."

Suggesting that Ryan didn't have what it takes to make it to the final, Simon continued: ""I don’t think Ryan would have gone further."

"We do the sing-off to see A) who’s best and B) who wants it the most. Whatever you do, you’re gonna be unpopular."

But if you think Simon sees Honey G wearing the X Factor crown this year, you'd be wrong.

Like the rest of us, he doesn't imagine Honey G will clinch it despite her success thus far.

"But the truth is, unless Honey performs a miracle, she’s not gonna win this show. I don’t think she can."

Tell that to Ryan, Simon.

While X Factor viewers took to social media in their droves to slam the show's reliance on novelty acts this weekend, the latest contestant to leave the show is much more matter-of-fact about the whole thing.

After losing out on a place in next week's show, Ryan Lawrie appeared to suggest that he knew he'd be heading home if he was to go up against controversial act, Honey G.

Appearing on both This Morning and Lorraine earlier today, the aspiring star took the results in his stride and suggested that the judging panel are more interested in the entertainment value of the show rather than the search for a star.

"I knew when I was with Honey G, I was going home," he admitted while reflecting on his time on the long-running ITV show.

Sounding unperturbed by the results, he added: "I just feel like the whole entertainment production vibe, that was what the judges wanted than me."

Unsurprisingly, when Ryan was asked his opinion of the aspiring rapper, he attempted to be diplomatic, but it sounds like he's as baffled by her success as the rest of us.

"Sometimes she’'ll be really posh and then she’ll be street talk," he revealed. "The accents change. She’s really smart and it's working really well."

"I personally think Honey G… Well, I like to use Keith Lemon as a good example. I think it's a character she has."

Admitting that he was sad to go but grateful to have taken part, he added: "It was a bit frustrating when you’re trying your hardest but I’m happy I got the opportunity."

So, Honey lives to rap another week…

If there's one thing that Bruno Mars won't accept, it's accusations that he lip-syncs when he takes to the stage to perform.

After appearing on X Factor last month, the Locked Out of Heaven singer was subject to criticism that he had mimed 24K Magic – something which he adamantly denied during an interview with NME this week.

Sounding pretty outraged by the speculation, Bruno said he can take most things that are thrown at him over the course of his career, but he won't let this one slide.

“I was reading something about me miming. Which is… well, you can say anything you want about me or my music, or make any kind of joke you want, but that to me is like, well, I’m going to get extremely insulted.”

Reflecting on the rumours that circulated following his X Factor performance, Bruno sounded genuinely insulted by the public's perception of  his performance.

"You have no idea how hard we rehearse. Just seeing that, it blew me away. Like, ‘What are they seeing? What do you mean!?" he asked.

The singer, who is due to play Dublin next year, insisted that the idea of lip-syncing is not something he would ever accept from himself or anyone else.

"Never! I’ve never lip-synced. I could have a 150-degree fever and I’ll still be up there, singing live. That’s our profession. That’s what we do.” he finished.

Right, now let that be the end of it…

After X Factor contestant, Emily Middlemas, sided with the three judges who criticised her Saturday night performance, fans of the aspiring star wondered how her mentor Simon Cowell would take the perceived criticism.

And thankfully for Emily, the music mogul has held his hands up and insisted that if he knew Emily wasn't happy with her chosen song for 'disco week', he would have given her the go-ahead to change it.

After performing Wishing On a Star, the teenager was told that her performance was somewhat lacklustre – a criticism which Emily readily agreed with, saying: "I really want to do something upbeat. I've just stood on the one spot."

Taking Emily's comments on board, Simon insisted that he felt no ill will towards his act, saying: "Listen, I have a thick skin."

"I want her to be successful so we have to work very closely tonight and tomorrow to find the song we'll be happy with," he said.

"The way the process works is we choose the songs on a Sunday night when we get the jukebox result," Simon explained.

"We sit down, come up with some ideas and then routine them. Often we will change the songs if people don't like them – which does happen a lot."

"I didn't know, and maybe I'm wrong, but I didn't know Emily didn't like the track. If she didn't like it, 100 million per cent I would have changed it," he confirmed.

A little more communication next time, guys…

If anyone has had a crash course in the downsides of fame, it's X Factor contestant Honey G.

In the spotlight only mere months, the aspiring rapper has had to deal with her fair share of criticism, and it looks like it's only served to make her more determined to smash it in the charts.

Countless viewers have been vocal in their disbelief over Honey G's progress in the ITV show, and now heavy-hitters in the music industry have added to the backlash against her.

When asked her opinion of the contestant, Lily Allen responded: "I find it offensive. So wrong on so many levels, I can’t even start to talk about it.”

Similarly, rapper Professor Green was far from impressed with her performances thus far, saying: "I just don’t think she’s a very credible representation."

Hitting back at the criticism, Honey G reminded her haters that she has an extensive background in music and has the support of two major global stars.

"Lily Allen said she finds it offensive but she needs to get her facts right. Professor Green said I’m taking the mickey out of rap music," Honey G confirmed.

"My mum is a pianist and I’ve followed in her footsteps. Her music is classical and mine is rap. I come from a musical background. People haven’t done their homework on me." she insisted.

Suggesting Professor Green might need a big ol' serving of humble pie, she added: "But then Snoop Dogg has talked about doing a record with me and 50 Cent has backed me."

Hmm, we wonder what they'll make of that…
