In a very moving tribute to George Michael on The Late Late Show with James Corden, the British presenter shared his memories of the much-loved singer who tragically passed away on Christmas Day last year.

Recalling his meeting with the singer back in 2011, a clearly emotional James told his American audience that the Outside singer contacted him personally regarding the presenter's desire to do a sketch with him for Comic Relief.

"We chatted for an hour and we talked about music and I felt very privileged to be able to tell him how much his music meant to me," James said.

In the clip, which has racked up 80,000 views since yesterday, James reminded the public that if it wasn't for George Michael, it's unlikely the world would have been introduced to the wonder that is Carpool Karaoke.

Responding to James' tribute, one YouTube user wrote: "There needs to be a love button so I can hit it repeatedly!"

"Thank you for your tribute James. So true about George Michaels' music reaching out…so true!" added another.

We'll let James and George take it from here.

Megan Michell, a 13-year-old from California, who posts makeup videos on YouTube in her spare time.

Recently, Megan decided to enlist her dad's assistance in posting one of her videos, by letting him narrate the process.

This is Megan Michell, a 13-year-old from California, and her dad.

The results were hilarious.

Megan told the lovely folks BuzzFeed that she has “always loved doing makeup” and she recently started her makeup tutorial YouTube to show off her skills.

In November, Megan asked her dad to help her out with one of her videos, by being a voiceover for it.

The hilarious narration had us all laughing, especially the way he describes many of the products.

For example, when Megan uses her eyeshadow palette, he Dad says "this is a very expensive palette, and I only use sa few of the colours, but I don't tell my dad that".

The video is over a month old, but it went viral on Facebook this week, and has since been viewed more than 39 million times… IMPRESSIVE.

How many times have you had your name spelled incorrectly on your Starbucks Grande Latte order? More than once, we'd guess.

And how many times have you taken to social media to call Starbucks out on their error while sharing an image of their offending name tag? Again, more than once, right?

Well, if conspiracy theorists are to be believed, you've been playing into the global corporation's hands in that case.

In a move which has YouTubers picking their jaws off the floor in recent days, YouTube channel, Super Deluxe, conducted an experiment and it looks like they might just be on to something.

With the help of a woman named Molly, who visited five branches of the coffee chain, the channel suggested that the coffee house purposely misspell our names so we'll share the mistake on social media.

And hey presto, free advertising.,..

A vegetarian who decided to tuck into a variety of different meat for the first time in a staggering 22 years has infuriated YouTubers this week.

Stephanie Potakis, who went veggie in just fourth grade, made the decision to hop off the wagon and get reacquainted with numerous meat-based dishes before sharing the footage online.

And not everyone is too happy about it.

Suggesting that Stephanie was attempting to pull the wool over viewers' eyes, one YouTuber commented: "This is disgusting and sad I would literally throw up. This is so fake no person that dedicated for 22 years would just throw it away with no hesitation."

"All the vegetarians I know who tried going back to meat throw the f**k up because their bodies can't digest the meat as well as they used to," added another.

It looks like from where they were sitting, Stephanie just wasn't behaving accordingly for someone who has been meat-free for more than two decades.

"What a load of bullsh*t, she was never vegetarian, look at her. P*ss off, who even gets that excited over a bloody dead cow. What a joke," fumed another viewer.

Sounding like she may be staying off the wagon for good, Stephanie gushed over every piece of meat placed in front of her  saying: "Jealous? Cos you should be cos this is so good."

You'll have to make your own mind up on this one…

We'll be honest here – if someone decides to break out the Thriller dance, we're gonna need to see a lot of enthusiasm.

That iconic dance just doesn't cut it unless it's being performed with the same energy Jacko and the crew gave it back in the day.

So, when President Obama and the First Lady decided to give it a bash during a Halloween event in the White House over the weekend, they didn't quite blow us away.

Looking kind of reluctant to fully let their hair down, the couple gave a fairly lacklustre performance, but look, they tried all the same, right?

And while the vast majority of us see the sweetness behind the impromptu routine, not everyone is as willing to offer props.

Commenting on the footage which hit YouTube yesterday, one member of the public wrote: "That's exactly how much effort he puts into his presidency too."

"This is the lowest energy "Thriller Dance" I have ever seen. Sad!" commented one YouTube user.

"The Obama's have no passion for anything American," remarked one while another added: "They should be packing and moving out. Time to go dance your way out of office."

The video has racked up more than 55,000 hits in less than a day, but there's no denying the Obamas have divided the public on this one.

While we'd happily wear the same top, skirt or pair of jeans as often as we want, there's something about dresses that make us think they're a one-wear garment.

And considering the fact that they can be pretty damn expensive, our logic just doesn't cut it on this front.

So, when YouTubers learned that fashion line, Showpo, had created a dress which changes colour, they understandably fell all over themselves to catch a glimpse of the garment which had the potential to revolutionise a woman's wardrobe.

And, a short time later, were ultimately left feeling pretty let-down.

Commenting on the footage which has wound up thousands in recent days, one member of the public wrote: "So fake, if you really did create this tech why wouldn't you explain it?"

"Possibly couldn't be faker," added another. "Almost instantaneously it reeks of acting, selfie style camera held by DSLR, over the top reactions from all."

So, wanna see what all the fuss is about?

Vlogger Eugenia Cooney has been forced to defend herself against a petition which demanded she be banned from YouTube for encouraging anorexia.

Despite never admitting to having an eating disorder, the 22-year-old New Yorker has been heavily criticised in recent weeks for her strikingly low weight as thousands of her followers believe her tiny frame could drive fans to towards extreme weight loss tactics.

In a recent post – which is entitled “I’m Sorry” – the self-proclaimed “emo” addressed the claims by insisting she has “never tried to influence anyone badly” and has “never encourage[d] people to try look like [her]”.

A number of petitions on Change.org ask for the popular blogger – who has almost one million followers – to be temporarily removed from YouTube until she gets help for her alleged condition.

One such proposal received almost 20,000 signatures before it was removed on Friday.

The petition read: “Eugenia Cooney has a serious medical condition and needs to seek help.  She has been influencing her viewers by her serious underweight condition.”

“She has not been getting better since the day she started YouTube, she’s getting more and more sick each day.  And it’s honestly like she does this bodily harm to herself and shows young girls, such as her viewers on social media that it is ‘okay’, to be suffering from a medical condition such as Anorexia-Nervosa (sic).”

“She has not got any treatment.  And is triggering her fan base,” the post alleged.  “She may not be intentionally influencing her viewers, but showing more than 50 percent of her body in her videos and pictures is not helping girls with Anorexia or any eating disorder.”

There are OTT weddings – and then there are the nuptials of lovebirds Evka and Lukas.

The teenage bride and her beloved were married recently in Slovakia, with a video capturing the happy day now doing the rounds in Eastern Europe and Russia.

The seven-minute long footage offers a rare, real-life glimpse into the delightfully extravagant weddings that are expected as standard among the Romani community.

Musicians are seen gratefully accepting tips amounting to hundreds while later in the evening, guests pin €500 and €200 notes to the bride's dress.

Evka in fact wears three stunning gowns over the course of the celebration – the most impressive being the one donned for the ceremony. Heavily embellished, the 19-year-old accessorises her look with giant jewels and a gold tiara.

The 20-year-old groom furthermore complements the sweeping frock by sporting dramatic gold detail on his white suit.

Online observers report that the wedding dress cost a cool €200,000 – although the reception was priced at a more modest €35,000.

At this stage, we’ve all heard that placing your phone in a bowl of rice will dry it out if it makes contact with water, right?

But did you know that you could create a handy little headphone jack with just a power tool and a total loss of common sense?

Well, you can!

If YouTube is anything to go by, a worrying number of iPhone 7 users have fallen for an online prank which promises to help them create the headphone jack that Apple didn’t deem necessary to include in its latest design.

And depending on your perspective, the prank worked a treat, with the cerebrally challenged among us actually taking a drill to their new device.

“I tried this, and now there's no sound coming out my phone,” lamented one while another explained: “I drilled the hole in it. The headphone doesn't go all the way in.”

“Do I need to drill deeper? Also my phone turned off because of low battery I think. I'm charging it for an hour now it doesn't turn on, is this normal?”

But while some people were getting busy with their drill bits, countless others were feeding into the prank by leaving ‘helpful’ tips on YouTube.

“If you make a horizontal cut with a blade, you can also have expandable memory,” revealed one.

“If you throw your phone off into the Grand Canyon and the put a jack-hammer to it, it gives you unlimited apps for free and unlimited memory!” advised another. “If you throw it into a volcano it will print money!”

You heard him, guys.
