Over the last few months there have been a slew of rumours that One Directioner Zayn Malik is ready to pack his bags and say goodbye to the band, but now it seems Harry Styles could be considering a change of career, too!

Film producer Harvey Weinstein says he has offered Harry a film role in the past and he wouldn't hesitate to offer him another role in the future. The famous movie mogul told The Sun that Harry "doesn’t even have to audition for me."

Harvey said he thinks there's "no question" that the 1D singer will enter the world of movies. "I get from him that he wants to," said Harvey.

"He came to our Oscars party last year and then I went out to lunch with him. I’ve met him two or three times and he was very interested and charming. I think the guy is a movie star.”

It turns out Harry's cheeky good looks could translate well to the silver screen – Harvey describes him as a "a dashing rogue – a fun-loving, spirited kind of actor that used to be in England all the time."

However we wouldn't worry about the singer ditching 1D just yet, as he turned down a debut film role in Harvey's flick Tulip Fever due to musical commitments. "We offered him a part and he couldn’t do the movie because he had the tour," said the producer.

After watching The Graham Norton Show last weekend, we all understood just how important Zayn Malik’s hair is to his fans after Graham showed some tweets relating to the pop star’s ‘strand'.

Although Zayn has been sporting long hair for quite a while now, Twitter erupted once again when the star was seen wearing it down in a curtain style again, rather than the swept back do' complete with a manbun he had been wearing. 

Many of Zayn's fans don't like the star with long hair, while others have been defending it to the last (strand). When we said strong reactions, we meant it…

It seems Zayn has the 'curtain look' of the decade, but we'll never forget who first rocked the look…We love you Nick Carter!

It has been rumoured for a while now that the Little Mix/One Direction wedding extravaganza was going to be a looong way off – and now it’s been confirmed by the bride-to-be herself.

Perrie Edwards was speaking at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards when she announced that any wedding for her and fiancé Zayn Malik wouldn’t be happening for a long time.

The singer said: “I don’t want to rush it – I want to take my time and make sure it’s perfect! We need time.”

Zayn, meanwhile, spoke similar words in a recent interview, saying that he and his fiancée had just been too busy to plan a wedding: “We haven’t really had any time to sit and organise it.”

So it sounds like it will be a long engagement for the couple who announced their plans to wed in August 2013.

We’re surprised that those One Direction boys (our Niall Horan excluded, of course) have any skin left to ink!

Zayn and Louis proved that there is always room for a new tattoo, however, as they unveiled yet more unusual artwork this weekend.

The pair decided to hit up a tattoo parlour during their recent trip to Australia, and happily posed with the tattooists to show off their new ink.

What did they go for, we hear you ask?

From what we (and their legion of fans) have been able to make out from the photo, Louis chose to get a dagger on his left arm, while Zayn appears to have opted for a mighty big flower on his left wrist.

Can we just say how painful Louis’ looks? Ouch!

At least Zayn didn’t choose to get another dodgy cartoon tattoo of his fiancée, Little Mix star Perrie Edwards.

Following last week’s accusation that Zayn missed a part of the US promo tour due to drugs (an accusation he strongly denied) it has now been rumoured he wants to leave the fame game behind!

The Sunday People have said that the One D star just wants to have a quiet life with future wife Perrie Edwards, with a source saying: Zayn is fed up with the whole fame thing. He loves singing and his fans but he just wants a quiet life now. He has become increasingly disappointed with the little amount of time he can spend with Perrie.”

The rumours come not long after it was reported that One Direction’s manager, Paul Higgins, has quit his role and left the US following a ‘bust-up’ with Zayn. 

Paul has been with the band since their time on The X Factor and it was suggested the argument may have had something to do with Zayn’s absence at the beginning of the US promo tour. 

Hmm, it sounds as of One D are coming apart at the seams – we hope all is sorted soon!

Yesterday, fans were left wondering where Zayn Malik was as the One Direction boys appeared on The Today Show in the US without him.

When host Matt Lauer disputed the band’s claim that he was ill and instead asked if he had a substance abuse problem, things got very heated on Twitter.

Now, Zayn has hit back at these shocking allegations, telling The Sun: “I’m really angry and upset by what was said on The Today Show. I was really ill at the weekend. That’s why I couldn’t fly to America.”

We’re not surprised Zayn is feeling angry towards the claims- we wonder what Matt was thinking?!

Say it ain’t so!

We were getting so excited about an upcoming wedding for One Direction star Zayn Malik and Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards – but now it looks like we’ll have some waiting to do…

The couple have been engaged since August 2013 but Zayn has admitted they haven’t been planning the big day at all yet: “We haven’t really had any time to sit and organise it.”

The singer also added that he will have a hard time choosing a best man: “I think it will be quite hard to pick just one.”

Adding fuel to the fire that this wedding may never happen, Harry Styles quipped: “They did it for the presents, how many times do I have to tell everyone?”

Zayn and Perrie had sparked rumours of a secret marriage when the One Direction star was spotted wearing a band and again when he threw his fiancée an elaborate birthday party, rumoured to have been a wedding.

The Daily Show has been accused of racism after a joke they made about One Direction in the context of terrorism has come under fire on Twitter.

The joke, by Jessica Williams, lists One Direction as part of a terrorist “supergroup” but fans of the band have been enraged by the gag, calling it racist and in bad taste.

Although Jessica never mentions one member of the band in particular, One Direction fans seem to think The Daily Show were taking aim at Zayn Malik:

We’re sure The Daily Show learnt a valuable lesson from all of this – just don’t mention One Direction. Ever.

The family of One Direction star Zayn Malik are devastated as Zayn young cousin Arshiya Malik was put on a life support machine following surgery for a brain tumour.

The three-year-old had been given a 1% chance of survival following the operation and while the family was originally hopeful, an MRI scan showed the surgery was not successful.

Arshiya’s mother Aroosa Malik updated well wishers on Instgram, asking them to pray for her daughter.

 “Please can everyone pray for Arshiya as much as you can as her MRI scan didn't come out good.”

“Doctors are saying there’s nothing they can do & have put her on life support machines now.”

Zayn is currently touring with One Direction in the United States. He has not stated whether he intends to return home to Bradford to join his family at this sad time.

Socialite Jemima Khan might want to check the relationship status of her pals first, before making any comments on ‘marriage’!

Russell Brand’s ex struck up an unlikely friendship with One Direction’s Zayn Malik at Chiltern Firehouse on Thursday night before posting a snap that might make his lovely fiancée a bit peeved.

Jemima, 40, posted the snap of Zayn, music producer Naughty Boy, heiress Kate Rothschild and another pretty pal, all looking rather cosy at the London hot spot to Twitter with the caption, ‘Arranged marriages for @zaynmalik & @NaughtyBoyMusic’

Of course, Zayn is already happily engaged to Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards, who might well have squirmed in her seat when she saw the snap.

Jemima apparently took the boys under her wing and spent the night dishing out marriage advice.

Hmmmm…and rocking the boat a little by the looks of it!

One Direction singer, Zayn Malik, has received death threats after posting the “#FreePalestine” hashtag on his Twitter page.

Zayn’s tweet was in reference to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, between Palestine and Israel.

The message which has been retweeted over 140,000 times has also sparked outrage among some Twitter users.

Shortly after Malik sent the message, users soon replied with abusive tweets directed at the singer, urging the signer “to kill himself” to “Let Me Kill you”.

But despite the death threats, Zayn has not taken down the tweet 13 hours after posting it, but hasn’t commented on the matter either.

This isn’t the first time a singer has gotten involved in sharing their opinions on the Middle Eastern conflict. Two weeks ago RiRi tweeted the same hashtag “by accident” but soon took it down, blaming a social media glitch for the incident.
