Legendary Hollywood actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has died.

Just two months shy of her milestone 100th birthday, the Hungarian icon passed away following a heart attack.

She was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital today, but sadly was pronounced dead on arrival.

Married to Conrad Hilton in the 1940s, she found fame during the 1950s on the big screen – but had in more recent years been in bad health.

In 2005, Zsa Zsa suffered a stroke. And in 2010, her right leg was amputated following complications arising from a hip replacement.

Married nine times, she is survived by her most recent husband, Frederic Prinz Von Anhalt.

Ms Gabor had one child, Francesca Hilton, who died last year from a stroke – although her ageing mother was said at the time to be largely unaware of her daughter's passing.
