Talinda Bennington praises James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke decision
Talinda Bennington, widow of the late Chester Bennington, has thanked James Corden and producers for allowing the family to decide whether an episode of Carpool Karaoke featuring the Linkin Park singer will go to air.
The 41-year-old died by suicide at his Los Angeles home on July 20, just days before Linkin Park were due to embark on a North American tour.
The singer was also due to appear in an upcoming episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series, but James Corden has said that Chester's family should decide whether it is shown or not.
Corden told the Associated Press: “We will approach it in whichever manner his family or the people that were involved in that episode, however they would like it to be handled.
“We will navigate it as delicately as possible and just adhere to whatever wishes they would want because I don’t think there’s any other way we could deal with it. It’s a tragedy.”

The first episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series was shown on Apple Music on Wednesday.
