Taylor admits that her #GirlSquad have the same taste in men
This month Vanity Fair have given Taylor Swift the title ‘Captain of the #GirlSquad’ as she features on the magazine’s cover.
As she’s travelled around the globe for her 1989 tour, there has been one trend the public can’t help but notice. Taylor has an awful lot of famous friends, and she loves inviting them on stage with her.
Her posse of female celebs is, according to Tay-Tay herself, “so much more important than some guy that it didn't work out with.”
She has revealed however that there are girls in the group who share more than a love of onesies and Taylor’s company, admitting “We even have girls in our group who have dated the same people.”
We thought so. Taylor went on to say that instead of their shared love lives generating some awkward moments for the gang, she thinks they have more important things to worry about.
“Now more than ever we need to be good and kind to each other and not judge each other – and just because you have the same taste in men, we don’t hold that against each other.” The Bad Blood singer counts Karlie Kloss, Lena Dunham, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez and tennis superstar Serena Williams as some of the many who have joined her on tour this year.
She also said that when it came to addressing her issues with tech giant Apple, her mom was the person whose opinion she valued most.
She said she told her: "I’m really scared of this letter, but I had to write it. I might not post it, but I had to say it."
Taylor revealed she relaxed her attitude towards love and dating in the last couple of years saying, “If I found someone who would never try to change me that would be the only person I could fall in love with.”
Considering her and Calvin Harris seemed more loved up than ever celebrating BFF Karlie Kloss’ birthday together it looks like the laid-back approach worked out.
