Taylor Swift announced she wants to be Kanye’s second in command
Kanye West’s 2020 presidential campaign is off to a celebrity filled start!
During last week’s MTV VMA broadcast, Kanye was awarded the Video Vanguard Moonman. During his (lengthy) acceptance speech, the rapper announced “I have decided in 202 to run for president.”
Now, nobody is really certain whether Kanye fully intend to follow up on this statement or not, but that hasn’t stopped one singer from getting behind his campaign.
Taylor Swift has announced that she will be willing and able to become his running mate. Which is kind of awkward because you have to be a certain age to become the Vice President of the United States; and Taylor will coming in five years shy of the mark in 2020.
Taylor presented the award to Kanye at the ceremony, putting to rest any rumours of bad blood still remaining between the pair.
At the Grammys this year it was clear that the two were on friendly terms, but Taylor still couldn’t help but make a throwback to that 2009 incident on Sunday night.

On Friday she took to Twitter to post a thank-you message to the star after he sent her a fabulous looking floral arrangement.
Does it look familiar to you? That may be because it does bear a striking resemblance to the arrangements at Kanye and Kim’s wedding, which People magazine helpfully pointed out.
More important than the cute thank-you though, Tay-Tay also offered to join his Cabinet. Which makes us wonder, what would the rest of the squad do if Tay took the VP spot?
