Ten times we adored Rachel McAdams’ style!
We still think of Rachel McAdams as the high school queen Regina George, but the actress happens to be turning 36 today!
As well as clearly being in possession of some kind of eternal youth serum, the About Time star also has an incredible sense of style. Let’s take a look at some of her best red carpet and street style looks…
1. Portrait perfect
Rachel’s Elie Saab dress at the 2010 Oscars was an unusual choice, but the watercolour effect worked amazingly against her beautiful pale skin. A total win!
2. Drama queen
Wow! A daring look for the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. Sometimes bravery pays off, though – the media went into overdrive when Rachel stepped out in this red Marchesa gown.
3. Sparkling stunner
The actress showed off her incredible figure with some glittering red carpet elegance at the 2011 premiere of Sherlock Holmes in Los Angeles. Another Marchesa number!
4. Old school glamour
Showing she’s not just a pretty face, Rachel went for a seriously sexy Marilyn Monroe-esque look for a screening of Midnight in Paris back in 2011. We want this Louis Vuitton dress in our own wardrobes!
5. Monochrome elegance
The actress turned a fairly standard LBD into a killer look with the addition of a long buckled black coat for an interview with BBC Radio 1. Gorgeous!
6. Relaxed and simple
A navy polka dot Tibi dress was the perfect choice for a spot of shopping at Dior back in 2012.
7. Summer florals
This high-waisted midi skirt flattered Rachel’s long and lean figure – a simple white tee was all that was needed to set this look off!
8. Futuristic fancy
One word: stunning. This white Roksanda Illimic gown for the 2013 London premiere of About Time was a departure from Rachel’s usual red carpet looks – a structured white gown with metallic detail at the waist. We hope to see more dresses like this in the style queen's wardrobe!
9. Big hair, don’t care
The actress donned a Sixties-style dress and bouffant hair for the Munich premiere of About Time last year. Flirty and fun – we love it.
10. Summer brights
Our usual long-haul flight wardrobe consists of leggings and a sweater (read: our PJs) but Rachel clearly doesn’t do low-key! A gorgeous grey blazer was the perfect complement to that zingy yellow blouse. Win.
