TGIF! This rose raspberry G&T recipe is actually giving us LIFE
With mere hours to go until the weekend, we are (unsurprisingly) putting a great deal of thought into the various tipples we intend to taste test over the next 48 hours.
And while there were many contenders in the running, we're fairly certain that the first weekend of March will be dedicated to the creation and consumption of a rose raspberry G&T.
If you plan to join us on this one, here's the low-down on what you'll need.
Ingredients
- 200g raspberry
- 150ml gin
- 150ml tonic water
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 lime juice
- 3 tsp rose water
Method
1. Mix the rose water with 500ml of water. Pour into an ice mold and freeze.
2. Using a fork, crush the raspberries with the gin, sugar and lime juice.
3. Using a blender or a food processor, crush the rose-infused ice and pour into 4 glasses, filling up to about half.
4. Divide the gin preparation among the glasses. Top with tonic water and decorate with lime slices.
