The Beckham family had the BEST reaction to David’s latest award

Global superstar David Beckham has been named as this year’s Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine.

Not that anyone is entirely surprised because he has been the number one celebrity crush of many a gal since way back when. Although, there were some questionable hair choices but for the most part we have always loved him.

He told the magazine: “I never feel that I’m an attractive, sexy person.” 

Right.

Well, as it happens it could be his family influencing his thinking when it comes to his sex appeal.David accepted his title on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Yesterday and while he admitted he was surprised, his family were even more shocked.

“We kind of laughed about it with the boys, and the boys kind of laughed at me and said, ‘Really?! Sexiest man alive?’

Brooklyn was the one who was like, ‘Are you sure it’s not me that’s meant to be there today?’” David explained. 

What about his wife’s reaction?

"I would hope that she feels this way about me all the time anyway!" he told People with a ‘shy smile’. "But she said, 'Congratulations!'”  

David also commented on the passing of rugby legend Jonah Lomu who sadly passed away at 40-years old due to a rare kidney disease.Speaking about the former All Black player he said:

"So sad to hear the news about this amazing giant of a man… A sporting hero and one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet.

A credit to his country, his family and to the sport that he passionately played… Jonah you will be missed…"
