Forget Paris Couture Week, the Met Gala is the Oscars of the fashion world, where the stars pull out all the stops to impress.
Down through the years, there have been many style highs – refer to SJP’s AH-MAZING take on 2013’s punk theme – and a few bum notes (sorry, Kim, but that floral nightmare is still imprinted on our brains); but the event never fails to produce some awesome fashion.
Last night was the big night, and with a theme of Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology, we were expecting our fave stars to really bring it – and, boy, did they ever bring it.
