The Duchess of Cambridge wore the dream velvet gown last night
The Duchess of Cambridge looked like she stepped out of a Disney movie at last night’s annual Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace.
The mum-of-three wore the most stunning velvet navy gown to the prestigious event and we have to say it is one of her best looks of all time.
Kate donned a navy gown by Alexander McQueen for the gathering. She also wore the striking Lover's Knot tiara, which once belonged to Princess Diana.
The Duchess joined her husband Prince William at the reception.
The reception, hosted by Her Majesty The Queen, was attended by members of the Diplomatic Corps based in London — who support the work of The Royal Family in representing the UK at home and abroad.
This work includes hosting State Visits and The Queen’s audiences with Ambassadors and High Commissioners.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been busier than ever over the past few weeks. However, they are expected to wind down on their royal engagements as we inch closer to Christmas.
They will celebrate the holidays with Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip at Sandringham.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte have officially finished school for the Christmas holidays so the Cambridges will certainly be feeling the Christmas spirit very soon.
