The founder of Snapchat is being stalked.. on Snapchat
Co- founding Snapchat has made Evan Spiegal the world's youngest billionaire. At 25, the social media CEO has a net worth of around $1.5 billion, but his fortune doesn't come without it's downsides.
The app he created is now part of the reason he is calling the police to help him stop a seriously scary cyberstalker.
According to police, Spiegal has been receiving unsettling messages through Snapchat, Twitter and Email all from a man who is calling himself Ramon Martinez.
The world's youngest billionaire has received messages from Ramon which have made reference to JFK, slain actress Rebecca Schaeffer, molotov cocktails and cutting car brake lines.
But it didn't end with social media stalking, Spiegal got a package to his home in California with a letter wrapper in pages from a gun magazine, but the contents of the letter was filled with 'nonsensical' messages.
Mr Spiegel created the messaging platform with his Standford fraternity brothers, Bobby Murphy and Reginald Brown IV in 2011 and the app now has over 100 million active users every day.
Completely unrelated to this story, but Evan Spiegal is rumoured to be dating model Miranda Kerr.
