The official Queen of Facebook has been announced… Again!
The Queen of Facebook has been announced, according to the Guinness Book of World Records at least.
In the 2016 edition Colombian singer Shakira holds the record for the most ‘liked’ person on the social media website.
She has gathered 107,142,986 ‘likes’ making her the most liked individual. In second place comes Christiano Ronaldo with 102,782,118 ‘likes’. Shakira however has more likes only than two other pages on the site.
One of them is Facebook itself, and the other is Facebook for Every Phone which has 547,111,981 ‘likes’.
This isn’t the first time the singer has broken the record. Since July 2014 she’s held the title and became the first person to attract over 100 million likes on an official Facebook page.

Earlier this year Shakira had her records framed and shared a photo of them with her fans, on Facebook, naturally.
Other celebrities who have broken records this year include Taylor Swift and Jay-Z.
TSwift has the record for the “most million-selling weeks on U.S albums charts (three)” for the first-week sales of her albums Speak Now, Red and 1989.
Jay-Z also has “most debuts at No.1 on the U.S album chart by a rap artist” with a total of 13.
The American series of The Voice also holds the record for the “most-tweeted TV series in one minutes.” During the show’s live episode in May 2014 they set the record with 310,000 tweets during the semi-final.
