The reason for David Beckham’s newest tattoo is too sweet for words
Dad-of-four David Beckham has added to his tattoo collection quite a bit over the last year, and his latest two tattoos have to be his sweetest ones yet.
The footballer took to Instagram this morning to show off the new inkings, one on the palm of his hand and one under his arm.
The first, a scribbled drawing of a little girl and a loveheart, comes courtesy of little Harper Seven, who recently turned four.
"Apparently Harper is allowed to scribble on daddy," he wrote on Instagram next to a snap of the new tattoo.
At first fans speculated if the tattoo might indeed be just that – a scribble – but David's eldest Brooklyn later confirmed it was in fact a permanent design.
"Love my dads new tat," the 16-year-old wrote on Instagram, sharing a black-and-white picture of the drawing.
David's other inking is a tribute to his three sons, Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo.
Based on a handwritten note from his boys, the tattoo reads, "We love you Daddy."
Too sweet.
Earlier this year, David added Harper's nickname to his growing collection of body art, adding the words "Pretty Lady" next to her name on his collarbone:
And Brooklyn's nickname "Buster" became the adorable inspiration for yet another tattoo, this time just below his ear.
The perfect Dad? We think so.
