The right to bear armpits: Miley gets seriously hairy

"My left boob is bigger than the right – I'll show you!" – and so she did.

Miley was also unafraid (and very willing) to show off her armpit hair at a charity auction in New York last night.

Drumming up support for a charity auction at the amfAR gala the Wrecking Ball singer was beckoning bids for her Caitlyn Jenner inspired artwork.

Wearing a heart decorated fiery red gown the pop star was on hand to receive the amfAR Inspiration Award and also to auction some of her own very special artwork to raise money at the gala.

The 22-year old unveiled her Caitlyn Collection of bedazzled accessories and visual arts, which she first premiered at New York Fashion Week last winter. Designer friend Jeremy Scott showcased the collection as part of his show, naturally.

The collection is part of her Dirty Hippie line of accessories that come in an array of neon shades, because Miley doesn’t do pastels these days.

The Caitlyn Collection contained three framed, signed and bedazzled copies of Jenner’s Vanity Fair cover and fetched over €60,000 for the AIDs research organisation.

 Miley did promise to clean someone’s house if they bid the highest amount. No reports yet on whether that’s going to happen.

When Miley did take the stage to accept her award though all armpit hair, pet pig and inflatable sausage jokes were put aside.

She thanked her heroes and fellow amfAR advocates Elizabeth Taylor and Sharon stone as well as mentioning her Happy Hippie foundation which seeks to help LGBT homeless youth.

Her emotional statements moved many in the audience, as well as Miley herself to tears as she said there were many people who deserved the recognition of speaking out against the “unfair condemnation and the abominable stigma” associated with HIV and AIDs.

Wrapping up her acceptance speech the former Disney channel star said  to her parents she hopes that they are proud of her and by helping others she makes up for some of her more bizarre escapades. Like the time she licked Kris Jenner's face maybe?

Miley finished by saying that she also hopes “one day that I'm here on earth to experience an AIDS-free world."
