The Robin Williams films we loved the most

We are all still reeling from the shock of hearing the news of Robin Williams’ death here in SHEmazing!, so we thought we would celebrate the actor by recounting some of his best roles – there were plenty to choose from!

The genie in Aladdin
This was quite possibly our first introduction to the comedic genius – no wonder we were such big fans! His rendition of ‘Friend Like Me’ is one of our favourite Disney moments ever.

Mrs. Doubtfire
Who could forget this iconic film? No actor could have done a better job than Robin Williams – a firm childhood favourite.

Mork in Mike & Mindy
Williams played an alien sent from the planet Ork, who had come to observe human behaviour. This was the film that put Williams on the map as an actor, aswell as a comedian.

Dr. Sean Maguire in Good Will Hunting
Robin played the role of a therapist helping a young boy to overcome his anger in this flick, and proved that he could do much more than make people laugh.

Alan Parrish in Jumanji
We’re still wary about playing old board games after watching Jumanji! We absolutely loved this when it came out in 1995.
