The Rubberbandits are returning to a screen near you with NEW show
They may have been busy writing brilliant satirical posts on Facebook and appearing on Channel 4 news, but it seems that Ireland's favourite comedic duo are to make a return to our screens.
According to the Sun, the boyos have landed their own six-part comedy series on our very own RTE.
"Their show got a good audience when it aired but after Blind Boy went on the Late Late Show, the Rubberbandits’ 1916 special became one of the most watched programmes on the RTE Player," a source reportedly told the paper.
"That’s the kind of thing that makes RTE sit up and notice."
Yep, the limerick born Blindboy Boatclub and Mr Chrome are due to film an entire series that chronicles living in Ireland.
And it seems that the duo are making quite the impression as Blindboy appeared on Channel 4 earlier this week.

"My generation, we’re old enough to remember the Celtic Tiger, but we’re massively affected by the recession," said the entertainer in the video.
"Young Irish people, the suicide amongst them is massive. Huge amounts of suicide, jumping into rivers, and emigration and a lot of young Irish people, they don’t see a future.”
Hon the lads.
