You might be a bit hesitant of this one – but believe us, it works.

Apple cider vinegar is a weird, but great way to step up your beauty game.

This multi-tasking ingredient can be used to prevent acne and even make nail polish last longer, but that's just the beginning!

Take a look at these…

Skin soother

Add a cup of apple cider to a bath filled with warm water and soak in it for 15 minutes.

The pH level of apple cider vinegar is similar to the pH level of the protective acid mantle layer of your skin, so this soak will help restore the balance.

Facial toner

Mix together one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and two cups of water. Moisten a cotton ball, and swipe over your clean, dry face.

The vinegar's natural alpha-hydroxy will stimulate circulation, as well as minimize your pores. Don't worry about the smell either, it will pass quickly.

Hair rinse

Mix two tablespoons of vinegar with one cup of water, and use it inbetween your shampoo and conditioner routine. It will remove any residue, to leave your hair strong and shiny.

Sunburn relief

Mix 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar with four cups of water. Pour the mixture into a cloth and apply to your sunburned skin.

The pH level will promote healing and prevent any nasty blistering.

Razor bump remedy

Moisten a cotton ball with diluted apple cider vinegar and swipe over the problem area.

The anti-inflammatory properties of the vinegar will sooth irritated skin and the acetic acid softens skin to help with ingrown hairs.
