They’re BACK: Original Sugababes to release new album next year

It's been six years since any version of the Sugababes has created an album so it's pretty exciting to hear that the band's three original members are set to release a comeback album.

According to NME, Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy are working on new music which will be released at some stage in 2017.

Singer Siobhán Donaghy told Wandsworth Radio: “Sugababes have got a record coming out next year. I can’t tell you the exact date."

"I know, but I can’t tell you. It’s next year.”

“We’ve been back and then there was a bit of a break. But we’re working on it again, so it’s exciting.”

Siobhán was the first member to leave the girlband on a solo venture back in 2001.

She was replaced by Heidi Range while she released the solo albums Revolution In Me and Ghosts.

By 2009 the three original girls had been totally replaced.

They decided to reform as Mutya Keisha Siobhán in 2012 and released Flatline together the following year but this is the first time they will reunite as the Sugababes.
