This Corrie Star is really excited about her new role

Former Coronation Street star, Helen Flanagan spoke of her difficulty of trying to get taken seriously in the acting world.

But it seems her job worries are now behind her as Flanagan has managed to land a role, on BBC’s drama, Holby City.

The actress will play a nurse named Kirsty in an episode set to air in July and Helen seems really excited about her new role.

“I’m really pleased to be working in a show I really enjoy.”

Holby City’s executive producer, Oliver Kent was also happy about Helen’s new role: “We’re delighted to have Helen on the show. She’s going to ruffle some feathers. It’s definitely an episode to watch.”
