Girls, this ‘unicorn’ cheese toastie really has to be SEEN to be believed

As any cheese-lover will tell you, your standard toasted cheese sandwich needs very little improvement, but that hasn't stopped the good people of Hong Kong giving it a right ol' go.

In a move which would leave even the most dedicated cheese-eater scratching their heads, Kala Toast in Hong Kong is giving the public what they didn't know they even needed – the 'unicorn' cheese toastie.

Coming in at almost €5 a pop, this rainbow sandwich of our dreams boasts a number of different cheeses as well as a variety of different flavours.

After an Instagram post of the sandwich left most of us inexplicably salivating in recent months, the person responsible for the snap, hkfoodiexblogger, decided to give a review of the rainbow-inspired snack this week.

"The toast costs $42 HKD and those coloured cheese are lavender (blue), basil (green), tomato (red) and the yellow one is actually the combination of 4 kinds of cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, emmental and gruyere)."

"The toast was crispy, but I reckon both the flavour of the lavender and tomato were subtle. The basil flavour was the most outstanding one comparatively, but the cheese flavour still was not as strong as my expectation."

Not as strong?! How much cheese do they WANT?!
