Troubled star attacks her own fan in nightclub fight

Another day, another shocking story about Amanda Bynes’ exploits.

According to reports today, the troubled actress lost her temper in a nightclub in New York, allegedly attacking a female fan who got too close.

The 28-year-old was reportedly enjoying a night of dancing on her own in the Gilded Lily club earlier this week, when people began taking photos of her without her permission.

A number of witnesses told TMZ that Bynes turned violent when the fans continued to photograph her, despite asking them to stop, allegedly going on to attack one of them by scratching her neck and arms.

 

The woman told the entertainment website that she would not be pressing charges.

The actress has caused concern among her fans and family alike since her arrest for DUI last month, and the latest reports suggest that she is not in a good place. Indeed, the day after the alleged attack, she was photographed wandering around Bloomingdales minus one shoe.

Despite the headlines, however, the She’s the Man actress has urged her fans not to listen to press stories about her, taking to Twitter to write: “Don't believe anything the tabloids are saying about me. They dislike me for some odd reason & they continue to insult me every day.”

She added: “Treat others how you want to be treated. The truth will set you free.”
