Urgh! Niall Horan’s message to Liam Payne has GROSSED us out
Look, we all know guys and girls are pretty different when it comes to wishing their mates a happy birthday online.
Us ladies pour our hearts out and make an effort to recall each and every milestone moment in our friendship.
And lads? Well, lads do not.
Case in point: Our very own Niall Horan from Mullingar.
Taking to Instagram earlier today, Niall paid tribute to his former bandmate, Liam Payne, on his 23rd birthday, and managed to be fairly creepy in the process.
Sharing a photo of Liam cuddled up against his pal, Niall wrote: "Happy birthday @liampayne!! Miss your scent…"
Miss your scent? Well, if they're not the words left by a deranged stalker in a teen slasher flick, we don't know what are.
Surprisingly though, it looks like we're on our own when it comes to this particular post because thousands of Directioners are all over it.
From admitting that the snap had brought them to tears to declaring their love for the duo, it looks like it was only us grossed out by the wording… and the poo emoji.
Oh, well.
