Wait what?! Cheryl and Liam Payne are reportedly ‘in a relationship’

While we are still trying to wrap our heads around the idea, the internet is alight this morning over rumours that our very own Cheryl is having a secret romance with none other than One Direction's Liam Payne. 

The recently divorced (and recently renamed) popstar has reportedly been dating the singer, who is ten years her junior, since her split from Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini in December. 

We have so many thoughts… 

According to the Sun who have broken the story today, the pair are dating and have become very close since the marriage split late last year. 

"Cheryl and Liam are in a relationship. It was unexpected but they’ve both made each other incredibly happy," a source has reportedly told the paper though neither party have confirmed the romance as of yet. 

The pair would already be acquaintances as Cheryl was a judge on the X Factor the year that 1D made their lucky break in 2010. 

The newspaper, who described the pair as 'secret lovers' in a huge front-page splash, are even reporting that the couple have matching rose tattoos referring to Cheryl's large artwork on her derrière and Liam's more recent rose ink on his hand. 

Both Cheryl and the One Direction star were also seen attending the same BRIT awards party last week. 

All we can say is, if this one is true, then our minds are well and truly blown.
