WATCH: JLaw explains that she DOES in fact wash her hands
Last month, Jennifer Lawrence sat down with MTV for an interview. During this particular chat, the Oscar winner happened to mention that she didn’t wash her hands after using the bathroom.
The world was not ready for that news.
As it happens, JLaw herself was not all that happy about how much attention her confession was getting.
So, she did what any celebrity of the moment would do and took to social media to straighten it all out.
She posted a video to demonstrate to her many fans that she knows you have to wash your hands after using the toilet.
The post on her Facebook page explains that JLaw was only talking about washing her hands in the first place because she was trying to "gross out" Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. Nice, Jen.
She said that she hates "talking to the Internet" but she "can't get asked another question about my hygiene on this press tour." According to the star this is the one rumour about herself that she had to put to rest.

I told MTV I didn't wash my hands after going to the bathroom because I was trying to gross out Josh and Liam and I ended up grossing out the world. Of course I wash my hands after going to the bathroom! (I can't believe I've put myself in a situation where I even have to say that.) Anyway with all the rumors I've ever heard about myself this is the one I really had to put to rest. -Jen
