Wedding bells! Mariah Carey is engaged to her BILLIONAIRE bae

Mariah Carey is engaged to her billionaire boyfriend, James Packer, after only a few months of dating. 

Representatives of the singer confirmed to the Mirror yesterday that the 45-year-old pop star said yes to her loaded businessman beau. 

According to sources, the 48-year-old Australian gathered some of Mariah's closest friends and family in New York before popping the question down on one knee. 

The pair first met in  2014 at a movie premiere but only struck up a romance in June of last year. 

"It's crazy how perfect they are together, they both know it and couldn't be happier," a source told E! news, also claiming that the ring is going to come in at a whopping 35 carets. 

This will be the third marriage for each of the couple, with James having three children from previous relationships and Mariah having twins from her marriage to Nick Cannon. 

James, who is Australia's fourth richest man, and Mariah spent a lot of time getting to know each other over the summer as they spent several weeks on a luxury yacht.
