Unexpected couple klaxon!

In what has to be one of the most dramatic relationship twists of the last year, model Gigi Hadid and singer Zayn Malik are now reportedly dating.

The pair – who are both newly single – were spotted together after Sunday night's American Music Awards.

And this was no "rumoured" sighting either, as the two were snapped looking very cosy indeed as they left West Hollywood after the award show after party in The Nice Guy.

Having left the club alone, Gigi walked a short distance down the street, where Zayn's car circled around and picked her up. The two were pictured in deep conversation in the back of the car, as Zayn reached around to touch the Victoria's Secret model on the arm.

The supposed romance comes just three months after Zayn Malik called off his two-year engagement to Little Mix's Perrie Edwards.

And indeed, Gigi is also fresh out of a relationship.

She split from her boyfriend of four months, Joe Jonas, just three weeks ago with a rep for the model saying the pair would remain "friends" but that their split was due to "busy schedules." Isn't it always?

While Zayn appears to be moving on at breakneck speed, his ex-fiancée Perrie has just moved back into the house the couple bought weeks before their shock split.

She was snapped with her mother over the weekend picking up household supplies including a vacuum cleaner, before heading back to the East London mansion, which set the pair back almost €6million.
