Johnny Depp was spotted out looking like a totally different person – but it's ok, it's just make-up. The actor is playing a crime boss in a new crime drama Black Mass.

The drama is based on the 2001 book Black Mass: The True Story Of An Unholy Alliance Between The FBI And The Irish Mob, which was written by Dick Lehr and Gerard O'Neill.

The hair, those teeth… what have they done to him?! The make-up department definitely deserve an award for this transformation – we didn't think it was possible to make Johnny Depp look bad!
