Yes queen! Imelda May has a new album AND a new upcoming gig
Retro Irish singer Imelda May is back with a brand new album, and an upcoming concert to go with it.
Imelda will play Dublin’s 3Arena on Friday, December 22.
Tickets for the incredible gig will go on sale Wednesday April 12 at 9am from Ticketmaster.
The talented singer's brand new album Life. Love. Flesh. Blood is also released today.
"When I first happened onto her music, she was a punky Irish Rockabilly singer with a great band," said iconic musician T Bone Burnett
"When I ran across her several years later, she had gone through a change of lives and was writing about it with a wild intensity and singing about it in the most open hearted way.”

Her new album is set to be her best yet, described as "stunning, her most powerful vocal to date," by Hot Press.
Describing her new single Should Have Been You, Imelda said: "I wrote Should've Been You as a personal story of heartbreak, regret and eventual empowerment."
"When making this video I wanted it to reflect current feelings of solidarity amongst lots of women worldwide in response to certain events unfolding around us such as unequal pay in the workplace, President Trump’s administration’s approach to affordable health and maternity issues and Putin’s recent decriminalization of domestic abuse."
"I wanted to ask the question 'Who takes care of us?' We are 50 per cent of the world and it's the people in power's responsibility to take care of women as well."
We cannot wait to hear what the new album is like.
