You’ll never guess how much Adam Levine got paid for his first acting gig

Adam Levine must have plenty of money stashed away from his successful music career – so we imagine that was a big deciding factor when he said yes to being in the indie flick Begin Again for no money at all.

The star admitted that he is very fortunate to be in a position where he can work for free: “I did this movie for no money. I’m very lucky that I’m in that position.

“I want to have good experiences. I don’t want to do a bunch of s**t that I hate. I want to treat [acting] completely differently because I have the very fortunate luxury of not having to think of this in terms of money.”

Well, isn’t it well for some. If you have written Mr. Levine off as being slightly arrogant with all his ‘I don’t need money’ talk, then think again. He’s not arrogant, he’s cocky. He said so himself: “I’m cocky. It’s different. Cocky is playful. I’m confident. Some people don’t like confidence. They resent confidence.

“I’m not the easiest person to love right off the bat, you know. If I knew everyone in the world, they would love me. Every single last f**king one of them.”
